October 2006

Chose a wedding location: Centennial Beach, BC. Reception at Cammidge House, above.

Not a whole lot of new news. Still working, adjusting to living at home and reducing my life to what can fit in the back of a pickup truck. Wedding plans are coming along really well, and now we're working out a trip to Ontario to visit some dear friends there. Just waiting for the airline to call back!

September 2006

Started a job with the Ministry of Environment. I'm working in water and air quality and getting to see a lot of the province. Website links to follow. This is my office.

I got to use hand saws and flame throwers on scotch broom and blackberries, which was a lot of fun. Who says work has to be boring? This is me and the weed dragon.

August 2006

Got a short contract job with LEPS- very amazing stuff. For a sample of the things I did there, check out the website and look at the new brochures!

July 2006

Got engaged to a most wonderful man. What more can I say? We're both very happy, and thankful for friends who are doing an incredible job supporting us. Wedding date? July 6. Location? More to come.

June 2006

Went to Europe with two great friends, Laura and Felix. Too many good times, too much fun, too much spaghetti and too many pictures to post any now.

The Return

So, some people have been pressuring me for quite some time to update or re-create my blog. I tell them I don't have time, and cannot possibly keep up. I don't read blogs. I don't generally write blogs. But those of you who need to know what I am doing, here's a small taste.

April 2006
Graduated with the most wonderful group of people, surrounded by friends and family, it was a very bittersweet moment. Happy not to have to cram for finals anymore, but knowing that I'm going to miss a lot of people incredibly.
